Competition Timetable

​This timetable shows an overview of the schedule for the 2024 event.

Thursday 31 October 2024

15.15 – Arrival
16.10 – Adjudicated Sessions
17.30 – Break
17.50 – Adjudicated Sessions
12.45 – Lunch
19.00 – Finish

During Thursday, each competitor will have 8 minutes to work with the professional choir on their chosen piece. This session will be adjudicated.

​Saturday 2 November 2024

09.30 – Arrival and Registration 
10.00 – Rehearsals
11.30 – Break
11.55 – Rehearsals
12.45 – Lunch
13.40 – Rehearsals 
14.50 – Break 
15.45 – Adjudicated Performance
18.00 – Gala Concert

During Saturday, each competitor will have 10 minutes of adjudicated rehearsal on the compulsory piece, and 20 minutes of rehearsal on their set piece from the repertoire list, which will be adjudicated in a performance at the end of the day.

10.45 – Arrival
11.20 – Rehearsals
13.20 – Lunch
14.45 – Adjudicated Rehearsal
15.45 – Break
17.30 – Grand Final

During Sunday, each competitor will have 40 minutes to work with the choirs on their set pieces. The rehearsal on one of the set pieces will be adjudicated for 20 minutes. Competitors will have a further 10 minutes to work on the compulsory piece with the LICCC massed choirs in an adjudicated rehearsal. Then the competitors will be adjudicated in a public performance of their set pieces.

Catering
Applicants will be expected to provide their own food and drink during the weekend, but catering facilities will be available during the day at the venue.

Accommodation
Applicants will need to arrange their own accommodation during the weekend of the competition. We will provide further information about hotel options shortly.
