Gala Performances 2024

Choral music at its most vibrant filled the splendid Duke’s Hall at London’s Royal Academy of Music throughout the weekend of  20-21 October 2018 as singers, and then conductors, collaborated in an international celebration of the choral arts.

Gala Concert
Saturday 20 October 2018

On Saturday evening two of London’s best-known chamber choirs, Coro and Chantage, collaborated for the first time in nearly fifteen years.

Between them they have represented London to competitive success at festivals in Estonia, France, Italy, Malta and the UK.

For the inaugural LICCC Gala Concert,
Coro and Chantage welcomed world famous Finnish composer and conductor Jaakko Mantyjarvi and his chamber choir FREIA. Together they presented “Mantyjarvi conducts Mantyjarvi” – an opportunity not to be missed!
